Equipment  Keep On Trucking maintains a fleet of 200 flatbed trailers. In this fleet are standard, stretch, air-ride, low-bed, drop-deck, curtain vans, and heavy haul trailers. This equipment will meet most needs and if there is a need that KOT can not meet, we can arrange for that equipment as well. With over 180 power units available, Keep On Trucking can provide the services that customers demand whether local or anywhere within the United States.
Warehousing and Storage  Both inside and outside storage can be accommodated at our facilities. All inventories are kept electronically and can be provided to customers upon request. Experienced warehousemen provide the utmost in care when storing and handling your product. Implementation of a bar-coding system and access to inventories over the internet will be available in 3rd quarter of 2002.
Rail Transloading  Served by both Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway and Union Pacific Railroad at multiple locations, Keep On Trucking can perform rail transloading, both loading and unloading, at a location that will minimize your cost of trucking from the railhead to the customer. Our specially designed unloading attachments and our experienced workforce combine to provide you and your customer the best of service and support. We can also provide rail car tracking and tracing upon request.
Distribution  Keep On Trucking is one of the largest primary metal warehousing and distribution companies in California, providing hauling, handling, storage, rail transloading and port services to many of the state’s largest metal consumers and producers. We have been in business over a 32 year period, providing us the knowledge, experience and relationships to help our customers improve their operations and to grow their business.
Equipment / Manpower Leasing & Rentals  Keep On Trucking will rent and/or lease all types of over-the-road and lift equipment on a short or long-term basis, with or without operating personnel. When our manpower is included, we provide all benefits and handle all personnel issues. You get experienced and well-trained professionals who are familiar with all DOT, OSHA, and FRA regulations and operating procedures.
Port Services  Keep On Trucking can provide drop and retrieval of containers in the Ports of Los Angeles, Long Beach, and Oakland. We have extensive experience and many special lifting apparatus to efficiently and safely load or unload sea containers. We have interchange agreements with all major steamship and railroad companies.
Logistics  Keep On Trucking can arrange for the shipment of goods anywhere in the United States, or the world. We offer bundled or unbundled pricing with both Union Pacific Railroad and Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway. We work with truck line partners and can arrange to get your shipment expedited. We can even help you with international shipments. With terminals and warehouses located throughout California, we can provide just-in-time delivery to meet the requirements of even your most demanding customer. By providing all these options, Keep On Trucking can provide customers with the best possible combination of price and service level for any shipment.
Forklift Services  Keep On Trucking has a forklift for every conceivable load. Forklifts are kept at all locations to meet the demands of the product shipped through and stored at that location. In addition, we perform forklift handling services in the Ports of Los Angeles, Long Beach, Stockton and Richmond. Manned equipment can be ordered out at all locations and can be billed by the load, or on an hourly, daily, weekly or monthly basis. Forklifts are available in lifting capacities from 5,000 pounds up to 70,000 pounds. Many specially designed lifting attachments are available to meet the demands of customers and products.
Customs Bonded Carrier  Keep On Trucking is an in-bond carrier, bonded in the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach (License #141) and in the Port of Oakland (License #524). A license for Stockton is being processed.
Insurance  Each shipment is fully insured while in transit, being handled or warehoused with Keep On Trucking. Insurance certificates are available upon request.
